Get Ready for a Scooby-Doo / Supernatural Crossover!!

No, this is not the Onion. The Onion would suggest the Supernatural gang is taking over Mystery Incorporated or some such in a bid to boost ratings for the flailing kid's cartoon enterprise and make it grittier for modern audiences... WHICH IS PROBABLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THE PAGES OF DC COMICS!!! I won't read that comic. You can't make me. What's NOT a joke is that we are getting an animated adventure in an upcoming episode of Supernatural's 13th season.


The news broke during CW's "Upfront" presentation this morning, which rolls out teasers of all the new shows and highlights what's to come for the rest of their TV lineup. No other information has been released at this time, other than the Winchester boys will, no doubt, be doing what they do best alongside Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred. Mysteries will be solved. Masses of food will be consumed. Dean will hit on Daphne. Dean will hit on Velma. I'd gather there will be a somewhat uncomfortable incident with gratuitous bloodshed the likes of which the Scooby-gang are not accustomed to. FAMILY FUN!!

One has to wonder if the collection of Scooby-Doo art that dropped on social media depicting the Scoobies interacting with famous horror icons (by artist Travis Falligant) had something to do with getting this episode made? I'd bet yes! Check out that art below...
